New Web Site

Hello all, I would just like to say that my new website is now up and running! This has taken some time to design and really creates a place were photographs can be viewed by anyone clients or not.

One major new feature is a weekly email! Have you ever sat at your desk hoping for something more exciting to come along and take you away to that far off place for 30 seconds, just so you know that there is life outside the four walls of grey. Please look no further the weekly email is that escape, I simple offer several photographs that I will take and the present them in an email form for your pleasure no pressure to buy. Another new service that I offer is picture framing! Portraits - The last few weeks

The last few weeks have been pretty exciting. After the new year I was able to purchase a background and support with the idea of taking portraits. I already have the lasolite ezybox and some other equipment which all sets up pretty quickly and is very light weight.

The idea is to go into homes and set up a studio in front rooms, this gives a relaxed atmosphere and takes out the awkwardness of going down to a studio with all the kids in tow. Also as you may have read in a previous post clients are able to view their personnel photographs on the website and choose which ones they would like. I can provide the photographs in a variety of different formats.

So far response from clients have been very positive most liking the fact that I come right to you, also the ease of use of the web site has been noticed and I have some very positive feedback about that as well.

New Website

Hi,

Finally the new website is launched the main addition is the introduction of the clients page, in which once a client has had their portraits taken they are then able to login and check them out before ordering, prints, frames, canvas or acrylic.

Two New

Two new things to report. I have recently purchased a sigma 10 - 20 lens which I have wanted for ages. Just thought would be nice to add to the collection, and give the ability to take some nice wide angle shots. Hopefully I will be able to post some photos taken with it on here soon.

Also just yesterday have had the Internet installed at home which means that I will be able to get back to some blogging again.

Exhibition

Amazingly next week is the start of my debut exhibition, at the Radllet Centre. This will feature many of the photographs that can be found on the website plus some new ones. The exhibition runs from the 29th May - 30th June.

This is really exciting for me and I can't wait to hear what the reaction is from the public in the local area.

AdWords

Hi I have just created my first set of adwords on the google advertising programme. For those that dont know adwords are the links that you see down the side of main google page that you see when searching. Its basically a pay per click basis and is supposed to increase the traffic and therefore the productivity of your website.

I thought that I would give it a go after reading quite a bit of information on it and in most cases the results are good. I will let you know how it goes hopefully it will lead to more people getting to www.anthonylewisphotography.co.uk which is what it is all about in the end.

Website at the Radlett Centre

As i have said before www.anthonylewisphotography.co.uk is going to be at the Radlett Centre in June 2007 this is now official. All information about the exhibition and the Radlett Centre can be seen here. I hope to be showing work from the website and some new work as well.

Listing on the Website

I was begining to think that no one wanted to list on the website anymore, so started to do some investigation of my own. To my surprise when I sent my self an email using the website I got a "page cannot be displayed error message" which I did not know about. I have now resloved this issue. So all I can say is a big sorry to anyone that has tried to list on the website in the past, I simply have not recieved the email to put the listing in place.
